Looking for an event space in Madrid? We've been here the whole time.
Finding the right venue in Madrid shouldn't be this hard. And yet the search usually turns into an exercise in compromise — spaces that are too big, too corporate, too expensive, or just a little soul-less.
At Area, we've quietly been hosting presentations, talks, workshops, team meetups and screenings for a while now. Turns out we're pretty good at it.
What we offer
Our event hall holds up to 100 people, with a projector, screen, sound system with microphone, and tables that can be configured however you need. Theatre-style, cocktail, something in between — we'll set it up to work for your event.
The space is part of a 400m² venue with an industrial design aesthetic — exposed concrete, lots of plants, natural light, and the kind of character that generic hired rooms don't have.
When we're available
We host events at weekends (all day) and on weekday evenings from 7pm. During the day, the space runs as an active coworking community, so those are our event windows.
One thing worth knowing: we're a community space, not a party venue. What we love hosting are presentations, workshops, tastings, screenings, training sessions, product launches, and events with a bit of substance to them.
Catering and logistics
You're welcome to bring your own catering or work with an external company. We also have partners we collaborate with regularly if you'd like a recommendation. Flexibility is how we work.
